Does it cost anything to donate my placental tissue?

No, there is no cost to you for donating your birth tissue. The entire process is voluntary and provided at no charge to the donor. All collection and processing expenses are covered by the tissue bank or partnering organization.

Will placental donation affect my delivery or my baby’s health?

No, the donation process is completely safe for both you and your baby. The placenta and related tissues are collected only after your baby is born and do not interfere with your delivery. There is no additional risk or discomfort involved.

Is Birth Tissue Registry only for natural births?

No, Birth Tissue Registry supports all types of births including medicated, cesarean, and VBAC. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for all birthing parents.
